3. I think my sister Yan helped me a lot when i came to America last month. I knew nothing about America but she stayed with me and helped me with patience. She carried four big bags for me and checked where my school is on the map. When i didn't want to live in the dormitory. She found a nice house for me and bought some vegetables and steaks for my lunch. Without her kindness, i can't enjoy my new life in America. And she also encourages me about my life as well as study. Because she lives in NewYork now, i feel safe and happy to stay in America.



5. I think if we have lots of money means that we can buy lots of goods which we really want. Using these money, we can get a part of happiness, like buying new dresses or going to a fantastic restaurant. But happiness doesn't correspond with money. Some people really rich are not happy. Some illness, fight and emotion can't be control by the amount of money. Because happiness is a natural thing for people.

Unit13

1. In my opinion, there would be a decline in crime if we do this. Some criminals do bad things like lost and swindle because they want and need money. After they know that they must stay in prison whole life because of crimes, a great number of them won't rob anymore. But some people kill others because of hatred and love. These kind of people are different from the person who only wants money. They often igore whether he must stay in prison or not. And i don't support this change because some crimes because of accident. it is so bad if a man must stay in prison whole life because he shooted a person by accident.



3. I think everyone only can have one seat to occupy and if you have some thing really heavy goods to carry, you can have two seats. And it is rude to use a bag to occupy another seat. But these kind of things often happen in the library. Students prefer to do the same things because they don't want to sit very close to others while they are studying. But i think it is wrong!

4. i think if i earn $200,000 a year, i can eat whatever i ant and wear some real expensive dresses. Buying a prada bag or a chanel purse isn't a difficult thing for me. But i am unhappy because of frozen weather. I hate cold weather especially annual cold place. I can not walk around the park with short jeans or enjoy outside life. I think such salary doesn't deserve to bear such cold weather. As for me,a comfortable weather is more important than other things. If i have lots of money but can not feel perfect. These money will be useless for me.


5. If i can reverse an existing law in china, i will change the law about abduct children. I think this is the most serious thing but it is not a serious crime in our country. A person who abducts a child will be sentenced to several years in prison. It will be under 10 years. But i think 10 years is too easy for such bad evil. Because these people, lots of parent can not  find their children.Lots of children even be sold to very poor place and live very tough.So i want these people who sell or abduct children can be sentenced in the prison whole life.

2. I think water resource is the most rare resource in our country. There are two main reasons. First of all, water resource is a kind of non renewable resource. The mount of water resource is limitied. Another reason is that their are 14 hundred million people living in our country now, the mount of people using water is huge. I think if our country have no money, we are poor but already live,and we can earn money through our hard working.But if we have no pure water, all of us include the rich and the poor will die. So water resource is such a important resource.


5. I am really happy to support this decision. To tee you the truth, i think study in our school with other students who carry a knife or a gun is a risky thing. There are lot's of accident happen in our country about student hurt each others. So i am afraid of weapons. Although teachers use a mental detector to check us will use some time and sound ridiculers. I think it is the most helpful way to keep us safe. If our school have this detector , i want to be the first one to be detect.

2. I think that my mom devotes her life to me. In my thought my mom not only good at accounting with a good career but also does well in house work as well as teach children. In order to let me feel better, she used her annual vacation time to send me to America. She helped me to find our school and also helped me to rent a comfortable house. Without her help, i can't study and live in America so well. So i want to thank my mom.



5. There is a trend in China that more and more girls like to have slender body shape rather than healthy body shape. In order to become slender, they try dieting crazes. I know some dieting crazes,such as eating apples or drinking honey in stead of breakfast,luch and dinner. to tell you the truth, i have tried them in order to lose weight in a short, but i think it hurts my body and doesn't work.So i want girls to stop this way and do more exercise.

Unit 9

4. Dong is my closest friend. She is a girl who can talks about anything include secrets with me. When we studied in high school, we became good friend. The most interesting thing is that we are in the same class and also live closely.As for me, she is a special person in my life. I can share all my sadness and happiness to her. Without worrying if she will laught at me or envy me, she is my honest and truely listener. I also do the same for her. And now i am in America and she is going to England next year,we are too busy to chat with each other. But i think our friendship won't change.
5. To be honest, i dislike to see too much population in our country. As we all know that there are already 1.4 billion population in china.In order to expand population, the government not only builds lots of tall building but also builds other modern facilities. These modern facilities cost lots of resourse and labors. So our government face a big problem and we should control the population and keep the quality of living up. If people all live in small places and have limit water and food, they won't be happy.

2. Describe a distinct taste or smell which you feel strongly about.Trace your feelings back to an experience involving this taste or smell.

I think that Thailand's food ave distinct taste especially Thailand's soup. I dislike this kind of taste. I extract this kind of food from delicious food.Thailand's soup are not only fairly spicy but also very acid. I think this strange taste can not attract anyone.But what make me unbelievable is that local people really enjoy it and have it everyday.

5. If you were given $100,000 to start a foudation,what type of foundation would you start?

I will choose the foundation which provides money for people to find their lost children. There are lot's of children lost every year in China.Their parents will be sad all their's life and lose their interest on living.So i want to build a foundation to pay the fee that they will spend on the way of finding their children.At the same time, this foundation can use money to trace and arrest people who commit a crime.
